MEET THE OWNER
Shantael Maynor is a 14-year Esthetician and Massage Therapist that specializes in anti-aging, acne skin and soft tissue injuries. Though she works with ALL SKIN TYPES, she has a keen focus on the skin conditions that exclusively plague African-American and other ethnic skin types from Fitzpatrick 4 and beyond, such as Post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH). Dual licensed in massage as well, Shantael focuses on trauma, pain response, injury and post surgery.
In addition to being committed to the beauty industry, Shantael is also instructor at Gwinnett College, a local massage school. With a true passionate for education, she is excited for the privilege to be considered the subject matter expert to so many and teaching the next generation to fall in love with the art and skill of massage therapy.
A recent transplant to North Carolina, she is currently working in Cary, NC out the multi-business suites on Roots Wellness Center.
Outside of owning her own business, she enjoys cooking, which she completely mastered and fell in love with during the 5-month shut down of quarantine. She also enjoys the meditation and strengthening of yoga and pole fitness I her free time. As an avid wine drinker, Shantael is learning the art of wine/food pairing and you can find no less than 10-15 bottles of wine in her home at any given time to share with dinner guests.
Shantael is a recent empty nester and newlywed, she is now rediscovering life outside of motherhood. She prefers beaches over mountains, flying over driving and staying in over "going out" and seafood over steaks.

Zach was born and raised in Raleigh, NC and attended Millbrook High School. He is a middle child in between 2 sisters. Aside from being an avid dog lover of a remarkable dog named Gwen, he also enjoys playing the guitar and listening to all genres of music. He has a passion for learning new skills, new trades and enjoys trivia.
Zach has a love for travel and plans to experience new cities and countries in the immediate future. His bucket list is to visit all 7 continents and climb at least 2 of the world's tallest mountains. If you see him on the road though, watch out! His pet peeve is slow drivers and traffic.
A recent graduate of Gwinnett College in Massage Therapy, Zach is eager to explore his new found career and provide healing and relaxation to all those he encounters. He specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone and Sports Massage. Let’s welcome Zach to the Caim Wellness family!

Dermaplaning leaves you with slightly brighter, smoother skin by scraping off the top layer of dead skin cells, peach fuzz, and excess oils with a scalpel. The deep exfoliation treatment can remove up to two weeks of dead skin, and the results last about five weeks.
It is a minimally invasive procedure that help reduce the appearance of acne scars or pitted skin. Some people get dermaplaning to remove unwanted hair.

Wood Therapy is a massage technique that uses Columbian wood tools to move blood and lymph. The benefits of this type of massage is relaxation and alleviation of tight muscles. It is most notable for its reduction in the appearance of cellulite. When done correctly, it can support lymphatic drainage, which may reduce uneven skin texture. Wood therapy can also help stretch and elongate skin tissue, which may also make the skin smoother.

What is facial cupping? Cupping is an alternative therapy that uses suction cups to stimulate your skin and muscles. It can be done on your face or body. The suction promotes increased blood circulation, which may help relieve muscle tension, promote cell repair, and aid in other regeneration.
